Music Downloads on Last.fm?
p2pnet news | music:- “Hey, I’m really pleased to see the new music downloads section finally come to life on p2pnet, but I’m wondering if you have considered uploading the songs to Last.fm, and putting p2pnet as the label?” – says RhYnoECfnW in a comment post to our most recent Music Downloads item.
It’ll gain a ton of extra exposure, both for the music and p2pnet, and it’s free, so I can’t see what the drawbacks would be to doing this. Just a thought, and keep the music coming.

Interesting. Any thoughts on this either privately or by way of a comment post?
For now, looks like a good idea to me: I’ll check it out, and I’ll also ask contributors how they feel about it.

UPDATE:
I was wrong. Entertainment lawyer Fred Wilhelms doesn’t think that’d be such a good idea. Click here to find out why.

I think the same person must have messaged me about it as well. I tried uploading a bunch of songs but some would keep aborting right at the end. Other songs were refused for not being encoded in 128kbps, even though it was. Nuts to last.fm. Too much bother.
