p2pnet news | announcements:- Dan Glickman, Hollywood’s official spin-doctor-in-chief, is to keynote Pike & Fischer’s Legal Risk Management presentation at Web 2.0 World in Washington, DC, on September 18.

The one-day legal forum,”will gather the top business and legal minds for ground-breaking discussions of the opportunities and associated legal risks arising from video distribution, social networking, user-generated content, and other Web 2.0 applications,” says the promo site.

“The forum will address monetization, intellectual property protection, privacy implications, and overall risk management in a series of interactive panel discussions and keynote addresses,” it says.

Glickman, who runs the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), is expected to address the impact of Web 2.0 on the motion picture industry, says the site.

He’ll be talking to content producers and distributors, Web 2.0 technology companies, traditional publishers, corporations, government agencies, academia, venture capital firms and law firms.

Other speakers include David Ardia, director and co-founder of the Citizen Media Law Project, Harvard Law School’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society
