UK comedian denies ‘kiddie porn’ claims
p2pnet news | crime:- British writer/comedian Chris Langham, charged with indecent assault and child pornography, says allegations that he’s a paedophile are wrong.
He was originally arrested in November, 2005, following a police inquiry linked to Operation Ore, the UK’s largest-ever police investigation into online paedophile activity.

Now, at his trial, “He said he realised there was ‘no excuse’ for viewing such material and claimed he felt sick when he had seen it,” says Guardian Unlimited, going on:
“He likened the experience to ‘putting my face in a chainsaw.’
“Breaking down in the witness box, the actor – who said his sexuality was ‘depressingly normal for a man of my age’ – told how he had later tried to kill himself after his arrest for downloading child pornography.”
Langham said he was sexually abused as a child while he was living in Canada with his family, says the BBC.
Earlier, “jurors at Maidstone Crown Court had been directed to clear him on four counts of indecent assault on a girl under 16 between 1996 and 1998,” the story states.
He later, “tried to explain to the jury why he had felt he needed to look at child pornography to research a character called Pedro, dubbed a ‘minor’ sex offender, who was to be played by his co-star Paul Whitehouse in the second series of Help.
“I have no sexual interest in children, I have children myself,” the story has him saying. “I find them [the images] very upsetting. To me it was like putting my face in a chainsaw. I had to get out.”
He also denies having sex with a 14-year-old girl while he was performing in Les Miserables in London, says Guardian Unlimited.
He denies 15 charges of making indecent images of a child, and other charges.
The trial continues.

If he had been caught selling drugs or robbing someone, would it simply be “practice for his drug dealer or criminal character”?
If he’s found not guilty, I hope he learns his lesson.
If he is guilty, then he is a sick pervert and I hope they throw the book at him.
