It may have, “lent its technical support for Blu-ray in the Japanese porn industry,” says HDTV UK, going on:
Mainstream companies such as Sony and Disney have been against establishing any porn links. Sony’s disc pressing subsidiary will not touch adult material while Disney will not allow its products to be made by companies that also process adult discs.
But, as backers of HD-DVD are apparently more accommodating to the adult video industry, it seems Blu-ray could be following suit. Manufacturing of Blu-ray based porn in Taiwan is due to start in August and products will then be imported to Japan.
Only a handful of companies had until now operated the stampers needed to copy thousands of Blu-ray Disc movies at a time, says PC World, but, “the Japanese company handling most of the early Blu-ray Disc adult film releases in Japan says it has partnered with a Taiwanese company able to secure the necessary equipment from Sony”.
Sony says it hasn’t changed its policy, “of not allowing its disc replicating subsidiary, Sony DADC, to copy adult films,” says the story, adding:
“But the company is offering technical support to any film makers looking for help, no matter what industry, a spokeswoman said Monday.”

This can’t be true… this should say “Sony, Upping their antics in the format war…”
As, Blu-Ray is winning this format war… I would even go right down and say that it “Won” the format war. This - In some peoples minds - just makes it all the better now that there’s porn in high def blu.
so whats this now? 10 points for blu-ray, and… 1 for HD-DVD?
