Dodgy doctor sues Apple
p2pnet news | mobiles:- Peter V. Boesen claims Apple’s iPhone touchscreen infringes patents owned by his SP Technologies.

The timing and target are, “slightly odd” given that other devices use such a system, noted ITWeek.
But perhaps not. It’s been revealed Boesen is a Des Moines, Iowa, surgeon facing more than four years in federal jail for health-care fraud.
Not only but also, “Civil court records show that Boesen, through SP Technologies, has filed a number of patent suits in the past, including claims against Canon, LG Electronics, and Kyocera,” says InformationWeek.
Boesen, an otolaryngologist, is free pending an appeal, says the story adding:
“No word on whether he is using an iPhone to text his lawyer.”
Apple hasn’t yet responded to the claim.
