MPAA’s Lucky and Flo in New York
p2pnet news | Movies:- The hilarious Lucky and Flo comedy continues. Now Hollywood’s super sniffer sleuths turn up in New York City in the continuation of one of Hollywood’s most successful farces ever.

The story so far:
An MPAA hack storyboards a Dumber-than-Dumb-type script in which two black Labrador retriever star as Hollywood detectives supposedly able to detect contraband DVDs merely by smell.
“Neat, but will the media fall for it?” – wonders MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) spinster-in-chief Dan Glickman.
“Sure they will,” says the hack. “They swallow everything.”
Soon after, Lucky and Flo turn up in Malaysia where, to packed audiences, they mysteriously uncover cache after cache of ‘pirate’ discs with awe-struck local constabulary and government officials looking on.
Can the farce continue? – Hollywood executives ask themselves. How much longer can they keep it up?
“Surely they’ll have cottoned on by now,” Glickman tells an aide.
But No, the story has legs and, “The dogs … participated in a probe resulting in raids on three retail outlets where investigators discovered thousands of hidden DVDs,” reports Associated Press, adding:
“Three people were arrested and charged with trademark counterfeiting.”
As the punch-line, “Man’s best fried has become a DVD counterfeiter’s worst nightmare,” quips Queens district attorney Richard Brown with a straight face.
Definitely stay tuned for the next thrilling instalment.
