Skype IM worm on the loose
p2pnet news | Security:- Security workers at eBay’s Skype are still trying to figure out how to eradicate a nasty worm that’s been attacking Skype for Windows users via IM, Skype Chat.
Blogs Finland’s F-Secure:
Users receive English (or, in some cases, Lithuanian) messages from their friends with links to innocent-looking URLs along these lines:

http://www.fakme.org/erotic-gallerys/[removed]/dsc027.jpgAlthough the links look like they are pointing to an image, they are not. Instead, they point to a page that will try to download a program called DSC027.SCR to your machine.
We’ve seen at least two different versions of this malware so far. When run, they both display one of the default built-in wallpapers in Windows.
“Skype, with more than 196 million subscribers in July, has asked anti-virus software companies to update their protection systems to stop the spread of the virus,” says the Toronto Star.
“The alert follows an August software glitch that left many subscribers without Internet phone service for two days.”
It’s disguised as a picture of soap bubbles.
