Led Zeppelin one-off comeback
p2pnet news | Music:- UK investment bank Ingenious Media recently said it’s financing comeback albums, and now Led Zeppelin members are reuniting in what’s being described as a one-off comeback in memory of Atlantic Records Ahmet Ertegun who signed the band in 1968.

Are they just trying to revive yesteryear?
Or pull in some $$$?
Whichever way you slice it, the band will be performing for the first time in 19 years.
Singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones, “will headline the November concert at The O2 arena with late drummer John Bonham’s son, Jason, on drums,” says Ireland Online, going on:
“The Who’s Pete Townshend, Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings, rock band Foreigner and Scottish 20-year-old star Paolo Nutini, will also play on the tribute night.”
Good one.
Or maybe not.
Tickets will cost £125 (more than $250) each.
CDs may be dead, but concerts and/or touring aren’t.
“The concert will coincide with the release of a new greatest hits collection in November,” says Times Online, adding:
“Plant had brushed off talk of a reunion and enjoyed critical acclaim for his most recent solo album Mighty Rearranger. His new album is a selection of duets with bluegrass singer Alison Krauss.”
They’ll be performing at the O2, the former Dome, on November 26.

Led Zeppelin or Nvidia 8600 GTS?
Easy, I’ll take the graphics card, thank you.

If the concert was here in America, I would want to see it.
But as far as paying $250.00 for a one night concert and mabye get a nose bleed section seat? No way.

250 is nothing compared to the 1000+$ some people will pay from scalpers or on eBay to be there.
I’m not a fan of Led Zep, but I don’t think its so bad, U2 in Montreal costs more than that and its not like they haven’t played in 19 years…
Parachuting costs more than 250$, I’d take that over any graphic card.

If anyone is STUPID enough to pay $1,000 for a ticket, then good luck to them. Hopefully that “scalper” won’t take their money and run as a lot of them do.
As far as I am concerned that is just too much for a concert…ANY concert!
I would rather have the graphics card…at least I will still be able to use that when the memory of that concert and the money people blew on it is long gone.
