Prince! I remember him.
I used to have every album he ever did.

Then in 2002 I sold my entire CD and album collection for like $2,000

Since then I pretty much have all that music Back.
But now it’s in MP3 format and it didn’t cost me a Dime.

Ha ha

Since 2002 I have not been a customer of the record industry.

Hmmm! But I still have the latest music and some of the coolest bootleg mixes

And this year I found Full Uncompressed DVD trading.

Guess what! The only media I buy now is Books from amazon.com and the local newspaper.

Screw them Capitalist bastards, Save your money for more useful things.

May be prince is a stuff out of quantum mechanic just like the RIAA.

He is for the RIAA and against it at the same time.

Similarly the RIAA has two different spins at the same time. (At least!)

Now I am going to conduct an experiment to determine if the RIAA can be dead and not-dead at the same time.

I find it interest because he sold it to a newspaper with the express permission to offer it as a freebee. Now it is one thing to say “Here’s my new album for sale”, it’s quite another to give the impression that its free for the taking and then later quibble because it’s on the net.

There is one sure way not to have it on the net. Don’t distribute it and it will always be under your control. Once it gets out into the public you can bet it will be on the net. Not if but rather when.

I don’t see this going anywhere and it being a waste of time. I suspect the cartels have put him up to this to get back in their good graces after they missed out on getting the lions share of money. I would not put it past them to say something like you’re finished in the music biz unless to go through with sueing and attaching your name to this action to back us up.

somewhat confused what you are saying, anyways what I was saying it is legal

I believe it is the same in Europe, but when you purchase a CD, you have the legal right to resell it. If it was not legal, then used CD stores would be illegal, as that is the same thing as selling it on Ebay.
