$100 iTunes ‘credits’

p2pnet news | Mobiles:- The $100 ‘credit’ Apple appeasement offers made to disgruntled iPhone buyers after lopping a huge $200 off the the large capacity unit, and discontinuing the smaller one altogether, can, after all, be used to buy iTunes gift cards.
Phew!!!! What a relief!
Earlier reports saying the opposite can be discounted, says Bloomberg News.
“Apple’s Web site says the credit isn’t good for iTunes gift cards but the page is incorrect and is being revised, spokeswoman Natalie Kerris said,” according to the story.
BUT —— users can’t add the credit directly to their iTunes accounts.
