Mr Skin’s naked women DVD

p2pnet news | Movies:-- Is Jim McBride’s obsession with naked women healthy?

Says the blurb on his site, mrskin.com:

Movies & TV nudity reviews * Celebrity interviews & breaking nudity news * Actress bios * Hot pics & video clips * Join now and never miss a nude scene again!

McBride’s staff of 10 or so, which includes his mother, a “skintern,” “have chronicled nude women in more than 25,000 movies and television shows,” says Reuters.

And now he’s cashing in.

mrskin.com has been online for eight years and McBride has now gone into offline production with “Mr. Skin’s Skintastic Video Guide” to “the 501 greatest movies for sex and nudity on DVD,” says the story, which also quotes him as saying:

It’s the greatest job in the world.

As a kid I used to tape as many movies as I could with nudity and then I’d save the nude scenes on separate tapes. I really amazed my friends with my nudity knowledge growing up.”

Are fleshly obsessions escalating?

“Last week’s opening episode of the HBO drama ‘Tell Me You Love Me,’ contained at least half-a-dozen sex acts featuring both women and men in the nude, an unprecedented level of sexual frankness for a U.S. cable television show,” says Reuters.

Yes, the Skintastic Video Guide is online at Amazon, it’s $20 list price down to $13.57.

Is it on the P2P networks as well?

Not that we could find …

… for now.

Meanwhile, how many copyrights has he broken?

Stay tuned ;)

This is EXACTLY the problem with lamescream media. Rather than doing its job of policing the government and courts as well as bringing corruption to light, it chooses instead to promote filth. When anyone complains about the filth, the first thing the media does is yell “free speech.” If they want to call porn, “speech,” I guess that cannot be stopped. However, there is no constitutional basis for giving pornography copyright protection. It serves no useful function. In fact, it does the opposite. It destroys families as well as degrade the morals of a nation.

Since porn has become widespread, the divorce rate is now over 50%; teachers and government officials have sex with our children; and this country has turned its back on what made it great. Porn has thoroughly polluted our culture, and yet, it is the porn producers that are portraying file sharers are criminals. Despite what many say, when one sees something enough times, he or she begins to believe that it is normal. Perversion is now a normal part of American culture no thanks to Hollywood. Not only have they polluted this society to the point of heading toward collapse, they also want to make the public pay them for doing so.

Why should people have to pay for the poison that is being used to destroy their lives? They should not, and many DO NOT. Most people who consider themselves “conservative” speak badly against file sharing. They usually call it, “stealing.” I consider myself a Bible Believing traditionalists and yet pro file sharing. Even though I do not use Hollywood products, I am thankful for sites such as piratebay.org and programs such as FrostWire. I believe that most media cartel products are UNDESERVING of copyright, and there should be no restriction on their copying and redistribution. Copying IS NOT STEALING. It is copying, and at worse, it is copyright infringement.

Leaving aside the argument that porn causes divorce, child molestation, etc. lets look at the First Amendment, and what it means. The First Amendment, in a nutshell, says that I can express myself any way that I want, as long as I do no harm to anyone else. If I want to tell Bible Stories, the government can’t clamp down and stop me. If I want to worship the Devil, ditto. If I want to film myself having sex with someone else, and that someone else is also a consenting adult, then, well, that should be allowed, right? The market decides who wins and who loses in the realm of video production. I’m sorry “Debbie does Dallas” outsold “The Story of Jesus” last year, and every year running. It’s not my fault. I really tried to obey…well, you get the idea. If you want to stop porn, stop fetishizing nudity and sex. It’s this nation’s Calvinist mentality which is causing people to rush to sex, drugs, and deviant behavior. Oh, and who paid their ex-members $500 million to settle their law suits? The Catholic Church, naturally.

Shun, that is exactly the point: Porn does cause harm, and you can call it speech if you like. I am not necessarily against calling it speech. However, not all “speech” deserves copyright. I am not advocating suppressing of speech. What I am advocating is denying HARMFUL works the protection of copyright.

“If I want to tell Bible Stories, the government can’t clamp down and stop me.”
Shun, yes the government can, and it does so very often. Many people have been arrested for doing so. People have been arrested for wearing a tee shirt in a public place that has Bible verses on it. The police call it “disorderly conduct,” simply because homosexuals are offended by the verse. Obscene behavior in many places is simply “winked at” by government officials. So called “hate laws” are already starting to prevent certain Bible verses from being read even in the (corporate church) pulpit. As far as the government is concerned, in many cases, obscene behavior is in and Bible belief is out.

“I’m sorry ‘Debbie does Dallas’ outsold ‘The Story of Jesus’ last year, and every year running”
Shun, that statistic says a lot about how morality in this country has gone down the tubes.

“It’s this nation’s Calvinist mentality which is causing people to rush to sex, drugs, and deviant behavior.”
Shun, for your information, the U.S. does not have a “Calvinistic” mentality. It has a hedonistic mentality.

“Oh, and who paid their ex-members $500 million to settle their law suits? The Catholic Church, naturally.”
Shun, one can say that the priests within the Catholic church was influenced by outside porn, I however, know that this is not the case. Porn and deviant sex has ALWAYS been a part of the corporate catholic church. The (corporate Catholic) church itself is mentioned in the Bible as the “Great Harlot” The many “protestant denominations derived from the corporate Catholic church are mentioned as the harlot’s daughters. What is happening today is the “beast power” that is spoken of in Revelation is laying waste the whore (corporate church systems). However, the fact that the corporate church is as corrupt as the government does not mean that all or even most of the people who go to these churches are corrupt. By the way, I am in no way a part of the corporate church system. I am not even what most people would consider a Christian.

No Shun, I’m not into the limiting of speech, I just believe that harmful speech or works should not get copyright protection. Copyrights and patents were mentioned in the U.S. Constitution as ways of promoting science and USEFUL ARTS – not harmful material.
