MTV ‘live’ VMA show pre-taped
p2pnet news | TV:- MTV’s annual VMAs are promoted as live but, “Although the stage acts and announcers this year were broadcast in real time, artists like Kanye West, the Foo Fighters and Fall Out Boy, who played in the Palms Hotel suites, were not,” says the Toronto Star, quoting the New York Post.
“They were shot days beforehand and slipped into the show” and MTV, “claimed anyone who didn’t go live was due to “creative reasons,” according to the story.
It doesn’t say if Britney Spears’ recent much maligned VMA performance was actual or virtual.
