Seems that he’s probably recently seen that Australian movie where God was sued (having to do with a fellow’s boat that wasn’t covered by the Insurance company because it sank due to an “Act of God”) and it turned out the fisherman (played by the Comedian Connaly (sp?)) had been a high-powered lawyer before switching to the simple life. Good and funny movie.

I live in Nebraska, Ernie Chambers is a “state” senator, not a US senator. He will soon be gone due to term limits — so he trying to get publicity.

He and his bully-like tactics are the reason Nebraska enacted Term limits.

He doesn’t represent the beliefs of 90% of Nebraskan’s but his district has enough people in it that still get him elected.

Of course Nebraska is 80% republican and yet we have a democrat and a republican senator (even if Hagel is a democrat with a republican label).

I’m sorry to say anything bad or against anyone, especially not knowing them. Maybe the Nebraska state senator, Ernie Chambers, should do the same. If he fails to not know God and what he represents then how can a law suit become valid of someone he doesn’t even know? Our country was formed because of our beliefs. Will the Nebraska representative sue Harvey the invisible Rabbit or Satan later? Maybe, on the grounds they are illegally invisible? This man represents the State of Nebraska? What does this say of the people there? Is this just for publicity? It doesn’t matter. The time and money waged against any claims is waste of government time and resources of all involved. I’m a believer in God and Jesus. Regardless, from a government workers point of view, which I am also, He’s wasting Nebraska’s time and money for personal recognition or gain. Does Nebraska allow this? If so, what a tragedy. This Rep. is making an entire state look bad. I hope someone the state files charges of misappropriation of resources and finance against a person of dereliction of duty. And possibly pull him out of office. I believe he most likely is NOT representing his state. And pray for God to grace him. May God help his anger and give him peace of mind
