Britney take-off guy’s own TV show?

‘This’ was a YouTube video of a sobbing Britney Spears freekoid begging, “Leave Britney Alone”.
He was apparently driven to tears by the hilarious take-off featuring Spears’ disastrous VMA performance.
With National Lampoon’s Chris Crocker superimposed over the original, it raised the ire of not merely Spears fans across America, but around the world.
By 8:48 Pacific today, the sobster’s YouTube performance had wracked up a mind-boggling 8,046,136 views, also inspiring a huge collection of take-offs, some of them even funnier than Crocker’s effort, if that’s possible.
But no worries: Crocker could be getting his own TV show,” says Variety, going on:
Reality shingle 44 Blue Prods. has inked a development deal with Chris Crocker, the Internet superstar whose tear-filled defense of Britney Spears has generated nearly 8 million hits on YouTube in just one week.
Plan is to develop a docusoap built around Crocker, a 19-year-old who lives with his grandparents in Tennessee. Even before the Britney clip, Crocker had developed a large Net audience via numerous video performances posted on MySpace.com.
But is it Crocker or the Crying Game guy who’s getting the show?
