Ernie Chambers hears from God

p2pnet news | Off Topic:- “It just all of a sudden was here – poof!” said John Friend.
Who’s John Friend, what was ‘all of a sudden’ there, and why should we care?
Friend is the clerk of the Douglas County District Court in Omaha, Nebraska, and we should care because ‘It’ is apparently a one-page document from Him – ‘apparently’ because no one actually saw Him deliver It.
Nebraska state senator Ernie Chambers recently decided to sue The Almighty on grounds that he’s been causing “calamitous catastrophes resulting in the wide-spread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth’s inhabitants”, and this was his seeming response, seeming because no one knows for sure if the document came from God, or one of his many Children.
However, the Response from on High “argues the defendant is immune from some earthly laws and the court lacks jurisdiction over God,” says Associated Press, going on:
Blaming the Almighty for human oppression and suffering misses an important point, it says.
“I created man and woman with free will and next to the promise of immortal life, free will is my greatest gift to you,” according to the response, as read by Friend.
St Michael the Archangel is listed as a witness, Friend said, according to AP, which adds:
That filing lists a phone number for a Corpus Christi law office. A message left for that office was not immediately returned Thursday.
Now it just remains for someone to sue the Prophet Muhammad.
Stay tuned
