The Pirate Bay sues cartels

p2pnet news | Freedom:- The Pirate Bay is normally on the wrong end the entertainment cartels lawsuits. But now is decided to take the initiative against its accusers.

Says brokep on the TPB blog:

Thanks to the email-leakage from MediaDefender-Defenders we now have proof of the things we’ve been suspecting for a long time; the big record and movie labels are paying professional hackers, saboteurs and ddosers to destroy our trackers.

While browsing through the email we identified the companies that are also active in Sweden and we have tonight reported these incidents to the police. The charges are infrastructural sabotage, denial of service attacks, hacking and spamming, all of these on a commercial level.

The companies that are being reported are the following:

  • Twentieth Century Fox, Sweden AB
  • Emi Music Sweden AB
  • Universal Music Group Sweden AB
  • Universal Pictures Nordic AB
  • Paramount Home Entertainment (Sweden) AB
  • Atari Nordic AB
  • Activision Nordic Filial Till Activision (Uk) Ltd
  • Ubisoft Sweden AB
  • Sony Bmg Music Entertainment (Sweden) AB
  • Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Nordic AB

Stay tuned for updates.

Meanwhile, maybe TPB can talk Swedish shoe store Wedins into running another new line of bags …….

This is more like it! Go Pirate Bay. Now we need criminal proceedings against them (media defender, etc), for spam, network abuse, corporate criminality.

  2. Reader's Write Says:

    Yes! Get these bastards!

  3. RIAA rep Says:

We are untouchable and The Pirate Bay will be shut down for good over this. We’ll do the same to all the other torrent sites.

Just watch this space, you bloody thieves.

  4. Reader's Write Says:

    “We are untouchable”

This is what the Nazi though before their country got reduced to a pile of ruble.

If I was you I will be packing now you parasites!

  5. Reader's Write Says:

What was always lacking was the hard proof that the major cartels were hiring others to seed malware into p2p sites. No matter how you lay it out, that has some really hard sentences to it. This leak gives rock hard provable actions of such being done.

No court will ignore this. Thanks to previous attempts against govenments and large corporations they have ensured that those laws are on the books to be used against them.

Not only that but recently in a court it was ruled that the fact that the RIAA paid $15,000 to have TorrentSpy’s emails hacked into to obtain proof was ok by the courts as a source of information. So their hopes of having the method thrown out won’t work in the states. In addition in Sweden a version of this same playout was ruled legal on behalf of the cartels. So they can’t have it both ways. The very method they used to secure the info for admissability in court now works against them. How nice.

You better find a new day job, RIAA rep. Your efforts at one hit trolling are no more effective than your present job is secure.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch.

  6. Leo Says:

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssss, fuckin’ yeah, right on! Take on those bastards. **AA and their lawyers are all cock suckers.

  7. RIAA rep Says:

It’s really funny watching you clowns squirm!

  8. Reader's Write Says:

    ASSTUNNELS !!!!!!!!!!

  9. Reader's Write Says:

RIAA rep thinks we have a problem and need to squirm.

He isn’t even intelligent enough to realize he has the problem. Whadda waste of the gene pool.

RIAA rep go tell your masters they want you.

  10. RIAA rep Says:

Hey, to that last anonymous coward: are you sure the joke’s not on you and your biting buddies here?? Think about it…

Just wait for the lawsuits. Muhahahah!!!

  11. Reader's Write Says:

    @RIAA rep:

Yes, because your lawsuits have been working so well for you…

Hint: threatening legal action is pretty effective against a large segment of the population. But as with any bully, eventually you’ll meet up with those that’ll smack the shit out of your worthless hide.

  12. Reader's Write Says:

“Just watch this space, you bloody thieves.”

The war that the cartels have perpetrated against their own consumers can only end one way, and I guarantee you that it won’t be the masses that ends up “bloody”. My suggestion? Stop, before it gets to the point where you corporate fools have to start checking the undercarriage of your vehicle each and every time you want to go for a drive, get my drift?

  13. Matt Says:

RIAA Rep must be Randy Saaf :)

  14. The Angry Offender Says:

When will everyone get the point that “RIAA Rep” is a P2P-friendly person making a joke?

  15. RIAA rep Says:

Angry Offender: I do not joke. I have no sense of humor. You shall be punished for your insolence!!

  16. Reader's Write Says:

    He’s got to be delusional.

    Forgot your meds, RIAA rep?

  17. RIAA rep Says:

When I forget to take my “meds” I tend to mollest barnyard animals and go hunting small marsupials with a kitchen strainer.

  18. RIAA rep Says:

That previous post wasn’t me. We’ll be sending the boys round for you, instead.

  19. BPI-Paul Says:

I am not concerned that people decide to take out law-suits against our organisations; we have the resources to deal with that.

  20. pan Piotr Glownia Says:

To copyright Guilders (copyright holders and their MPAA, RIAA)

No wonder that every pirate on the internet is taking always higher moral ground against all copyright Guilders. No amount of education and no amount of extortiated money in copyright fees will make copyright Guilders any softer in skin or make their societies more domesticated. Catle is still catle despite education… always… Liberalism and its crime of copyright against all honorable people is the most clear proof for that. 100 years ago I could kill some copyright holders for just sugesting I was a thief if I copied myself something. The killing in defence of honor and truth was still legal in some countries then. These were still times of people with higher values and morality then the plain and thicked skinned criminalism of modern ages. However brewing without licence never stoped, so why someone think that copying without licence will ever stop? So from when missing a licence is called a theft of property? Isn’t that legaly far fetched lie by any chance? So we have lying commoners? What a cliche. Some things never change despite communism, feminism, liberalism and other unnatural, wrong and sick ways of modern thinking.

The ancient Christians in ancient Rome were fed to lions by their hundreds, but did they abandon their faith and morality because some ruthless and merciless copyright holder wanted them to? Nope. They died for their faith in hundreds rather then join ranks of people like copyright holders, RIAA, MPAA and their likes. Obviously liberalism is like communism. A decent human being have only two choices in such situation. To behave legaly or to behave moraly. Why parasites like Liberals and Communists, who live and trive on other people’s naivity can’t move to some stinking forgoten country on the other end of the world and live there in their own versions of paradise till they explode of an orgasm? It would be so humane for all of us others, who just want to live like our ancestors did for milenias… that is according to the God given natural law.

  21. Liam Jewell Says:

Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Couldn’t the entertainment cartels just say they didn’t know that mediadefender was doing this on their behalf? Then only mediadefender would get sued. But they are just a company, not a specific person. So if they disband the company, nobody gets in trouble, nobody gets any money, and then the cartels can just hire another company to do the dirty work. I forsee the beginning of a nasty cycle here.

    Just my 2 cents,
    Liam

  22. Reader's Write Says:

It is not as easy to just “disclaim” you once employed media defender…..if it were that simple, the media companies would have already done it and gotten themselves off the hook!

  23. Reader's Write Says:

You guys are idiots if you actually think that “RIAA Rep” is someone from the RIAA and not someone making a joke.

  24. Reader's Write Says:

“I am not concerned that people decide to take out law-suits against our organisations; we have the resources to deal with that.”

If I was you at this point I would be concern about something else because it is about to hit you.

  25. Reader's Write Says:

“The ancient Christians in ancient Rome were fed to lions”

    Hey! That’s a great idea!

Let do this to the members of the entertainement cartel. Hop! few thousand in the pit starting with Carry Shitman, Hasshowl, glueman and Horrible Hash! We can add all the nasty croud working in the setlement center their boss and of course the media defender associal.

Now that will be entertaining! For the first time in their life all these parasites will actualy earn their money!

  26. Reader's Write Says:

“You guys are idiots if you actually think that “RIAA Rep” is someone from the RIAA and not someone making a joke.”

Well duuuhhhh. Everyone is obviously going along just for the fun of it. I did. When someone wants to joke around by creating a verbal punching bag out of themselves, why not have some fun at their expense and just go along with it? Seems pretty obvious to me. Hmm, or perhaps you actually thought you were the smartest one in the room? Not by a long shot lol. 8-p

  27. Reader's Write Says:

it looks like that riiarep person suckered you inthen hahahaha!

free p2p. you can’t fight us. we’re here, and we rule the roost.

    get over it.

    and get over yourselves.

    asswipes.

  30. catflap Says:

    and…

how can someone be committing a crime if they’re downloading fake files?

    duh. this beggars belief.

  31. Job Hunting Expenses Says:

Glad to see someone is staying on top of things.
