Kiefer Sutherland – jail time?

He’s been formally charged with two misdemeanor counts of drunk driving and, “Normally, those misdemeanors would warrant a slap on the wrist, but if prosecutors have their druthers, Sutherland won’t be skating,” says E! News, also stating.
“In addition to the two DUI counts, the city attorney is seeking to have the Emmy winner’s probation revoked from a November 2004 drunken-driving conviction – meaning he could face a fate similar to Paris Hilton’s.”
And Paris Hilton, as the world knows, landed in jail, emerging to renounce her former ways with a promised trip to Rwanda.
AKA agent Jack Bauer in 24 and the 10th wealthiest TV star, according to Forbes, Sutherland is accused of violating parole in a prior DUI case – just like Paris Hilton – says the Los Angeles Times.
And, just like Hilton, it seems Sutherland will appear before Los Angeles County superior court judge Michael T. Sauer who, during the Hilton trial, was quoted as saying e didn’t, “care to be DUI judge to the stars,” according to this story.
