They should be sued for selling overpriced locked down pieces of junk and bricking people’s phones. Avoiding this behavior is getting hard because Crapple isn’t the only company selling locked down junk.

As someone posted earlier, it’s not like someone pointed a gun to her head to buy the phone (though I do think that the 2 year minimum contract with AT&T is a bit overboard), but prices for products change, as to the way they are marketed. I am actually VERY surprised that they were willing to sell the product for $200 less, when they most likely knew there were still enough gullible people who were willing to pay the full price for the product.

Next thing you know, there will be people suing Petrol/Gas stands for lowering the price! Or no, let’s sue Sony for lowering their PS3 prices, or Microsoft for selling a cheaper version of XBOX360! Hold on, the PS3 and XBOX 360 both use proprietary systems, and you aren’t supposed to “unlock” them to use 3rd party software. That would be worth a simple 2,3 million dollars…

But back to reality, The US really needs to do something to stop idiots from being able to sue, just because they made a bad judgement call, especially when it does not affect their health!

Honestly, if your gonna sue sombody for no reason whatsoever, make it microsoft… not apple.
