Celebrity gossip is a guilty pleasure for me, and although I *didn’t* really care for the nude pix of what’s-her-face, I must say I have read every single piece of gossip that I have seen here.

As you mentioned, people have an alternative – namely, to contribute $. Can you again please (because I have a short memory) tell us how to contribute, should we wish to do so?

PS: The live bookmarks in Firefox are very useful in avoiding parts of a website that you do not wish to read. I use them all the time (!).

What’s with the “vibrant ads”? Every one seems to be a link to search for a term on Microsoft’s (i.e. the wrong) website. Who in their right mind would use this? In my browser, if you want to search for something, you just select it, right click and choose “search the web”. And you get to choose your search engine, too

The headlines are all glaringly obvious (or at least, I hope they are ). So it shouldn’t be too difficult for anyone who objects to the stories to move right along, should it?

It takes, what, a quarter of a second to scan them?

Meanwhile, my objective of pulling in new readers seems to be working, to an extent at least.

I’ve had a couple of emails from people who’ve never been here before saying they’re glad they found the site.

OK, it’s only a couple. But I wonder how many others have turned up here but haven’t bothered to get in touch?

Don’t get me wrong – I still read and really enjoy your site. Yours is one of very few RSS feeds I subscribe to and this is one of my favourite websites. I just really hate celebrity gossip so it’s extra heartbreaking that your RSS feed has become a bit of a minefield that I must now negotiate strategically.
