‘I’m a Net expert!’ – Kim Jong Il

p2pnet news | Freedom:- North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il says he’s an ‘internet expert’.
The revelation came during summit talks with South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun.
He made the claim, “after asked that South Korean companies operating at an industrial park in the North Korean city of Kaesong be allowed to use the Internet, Yonhap news agency reported, without citing any source,” says Associated Press.
According to Yonhap, “I’m an Internet expert too,” Kim told Roh. “It’s all right to wire the industrial zone only, but there are many problems if other regions of the North are wired.
“If that problem is addressed, there is no reason not to open” the Net.
Although the country’s rulers have online access, “North Korea is one of the world’s most closed nations, with the totalitarian regime tightly controlling outside information and tolerating no dissent,” says AP, adding:
“Radios and TV sets in North Korea can only receive state broadcasts and ordinary people are banned from using mobile phones, let alone the Internet.”

Well, Lil’ Kim, I’ll bet the U.S. Internet Service Providers would love to have you as a consultant, seeing as how they want to eliminate net neutrality and control what we do with OUR Internet connection. Maybe you can teach some politicians here in the U.S. a thing or two about censorship while you’re visiting.

News article construed in a manner that makes impression that Kim Jong Il talks about some sort of censorship.
While in the reality he, most probably, just complain on lack of money.

That’s all we ever hear about, is how the awful commies don’t allow anything they don’t like. The great firewall of China is an example.
