Do you know this man?
p2pnet news | Crime:- The photos on the right are of the same man and Interpol is looking for online help to identify him.
It’s the first time the international police agency has made this kind of appeal.
A suspected paedophile, the man’s face had been digitally altered but techs from Germany’s federal police agency, the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA), reverse engineered it to produce a usable image.
But, “despite global efforts to identify and locate the man, through Interpol’s network of 186 bureaux, his identity and nationality remain unknown,” says Interpol.
“For years images of this man sexually abusing children have been circulating on the Internet,” says Ronald K. Noble, the agency’s secretary general, continuing:
We have tried all other means to identify and to bring him to justice, but we are now convinced that without the public’s help this sexual predator could continue to rape and sexually abuse young children whose ages appear to range from six to early teens.
We have very good reason to believe that he travels the world in order to sexually abuse and exploit vulnerable children ...
The photos are from a series of around 200 pictures involving 12 different young boys, believed to have been taken in Vietnam and Cambodia in 2002 or 2003, says Interpol.
If you think you know who this is, contact the Interpol Trafficking in Human Beings Unit.
