Kiefer Sutherland: 48 days in jail

p2pnet news | TV:- Canadian ‘24′ star Kiefer Sutherland is going where Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan have gone before.

He’s been sentenced to 48 days in the nick after pleading no contest for drunken driving.

But it’s not going to be really hard hard time.

Instead, he’ll be doing it in bits and pieces

“In a deal with a Los Angeles judge, Sutherland will serve the time in breaks from filming the seventh season of the hit Fox show,” says the Hollywood News.

Sutherland, aka agent Jack Bauer, didn’t show up in court to enter his plea, “but his lawyer, Blair Berk said that the actor apologised for his ‘poor judgement’ and the ‘distress that he had caused his family, friends and co-workers’,” says the story, adding:

“Under the court order, Sutherland must served the 48 days in full, and will also be banned from driving for six moths and ordered to attend alcohol education classes for 18 months and attend weekly alcohol therapy sessions for six months.

“The actor was stopped in the city last month while on probation for a 2004 drink driving offence.”

But he won’t start his 48-days until ‘24′ begins its winter production break in December, adds the Hollywood News.

Sutherland Faced Los Angeles County superior court judge Michael T. Sauer who, during the Hilton trial, was quoted as saying he didn’t, “care to be DUI judge to the stars”.
