The show features a Muslim community as it assimilates into a fictional rural town.
It’s now slated to also air in France, French-speaking Africa, Israel, Turkey, Dubai, Gaza and the West Bank.

The ‘Canada Award’ is supported by the Multiculturalism Program of the Department of Canadian Heritage and presented by The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.
It honours excellence in mainstream TV programming reflecting the racial and cultural diversity of Canada, aiming to promote greater opportunities for ethnic and visible minority professionals within the broadcasting industry on both sides of the camera.
