Man beaten up after YouTube party post
p2pnet news | Movies:- After a UK birthday party was advertised on YouTube, more than 100 teenaged gatecrashers arrived at the house, eventually beating up 18-year-old Stephen Worthy and his father.
Worthy’s brother, Chris, was told it was OK to celebrate his 16th birthday while his parents went out for the evening, says the Bath Chronicle.
But, “chaos ensued after an invitation was posted on video website YouTube – and more than 100 revellers descended on the house,” located in Chippenham. Wiltshire, the story says.
“University student Stephen was on the door, but the yobs barged their way in, stole bottles of alcohol and rampaged through the property,” it says, going on:
Chris phoned his parents Dave, 53, and Susan, 52, who rushed home and called police to help clear the house.
Officers removed the unwanted guests and the party continued – but another group of 20 local troublemakers then turned up and tried to force their way in.
Engineer Mr Worthy and Stephen were attacked as they tried to defend the property, leaving the father with a broken nose. Stephen had to be airlifted to hospital, with suspected spinal injuries.
The YouTune inspired mob, “attacked the house – smashing four downstairs windows and several fence panels,” says the Bath Chronicle, adding:
“The situation was only brought under control when police returned and made several arrests.

1. “Worthy’s brother, Chris, was told it was OK to celebrate his 16th birthday while his parents went out for the evening”
BIG MISTAKE! Teenager alone, party, no parents! Drugs? Alcohol? Sex?
2. What the hell was he thinking posting it on youtube?
3. WHY did he post it on youtube?
4. Was the fight posted on youtube?

Who says the son posted it on you tube? All it takes is one “idiot” amongst his friends and the damage is done.
If the son is responsible then a party with friends should be okay but we now have a section of society beyond the control of law who see it as thier right to attack and steal as a means of fun.
There should be a facility to check who posted it and who viewed it as I doubt this will be the last incident and there will undoubtedly be a death at some stage.
