Britain’s funniest man

p2pnet news | Off Topic:- Oscar Wilde is/was Britain’s funniest man
At least, that’s what a new survey says.
Goon Show creator Spike Milligan came in second and as an example of his humour, he died in 2002 after specifying his tombstone should carry the line, “I told you I was ill,” says Times Online.
In third place, Stephen Fry was, “the highest-placed wit who has not yet met his maker,” says the story, noting he played Wilde in the 1997 film of that name.
Adds the story, “The highest-ranking woman was Baroness Thatcher, at number 12, who once remarked: ‘Being powerful is like being a lady – if you have to tell people you are, you aren’t’.”
