Boycott Vista! – say angry Dutch users

p2pnet news | Product News:- Angry Dutch Microsoft customers say Bill and the Boyz are refusing to offer free copies of XP to Vista users who want to downgrade.

And that, says Consumentenbond, warrants a boycott.

“The Dutch Consumer Association claims it has received more than 5,000 complaints about Vista from users,” says PC Advisor, going on:

“A Consumentenbond spokesman said that he didn’t believe Windows Vista was ready at launch. He said that Vista computers crash frequently, and that many printers and other peripherals fail to work.”

The association met Microsoft Netherland to discuss the problems, says The Register, quoting Microsoft is saying offering XP to users isn’t a solution, and, “many new peripherals are developed explicitly for Vista.”

But the upset customers say Microsoft offers XP to business clients when they’re having problems, story states, adding:

“To combat critics, Microsoft Netherlands launched a website on Friday which addresses many issues raised by the Consumentenbond.”

    You sound like IDIOT!

Apparently you have never used Vista and don’t know how bad it can be!

Go learn about Vista BEFORE you go spouting off dumb remarks about an OS you apparently know nothing about.

actually he probably is thinking along the same lines as i am why are you using a operating system from Microsoft in the first place.

if you know how to use a PC then why ant you using Linux, FreeBSD or one of the other free operating systems?

Shows how popular Vista is :r

As for me, it has DRM (Product activation and more), therefore, it’s an automatic HELL NO! I’ve had the displeasure of using it. It does NOTHING I need.
