Britney Spears booked and finger-printed
p2pnet news | Music:- Britney Spears has now been officially booked and finger-printed on charges of hit and run, and driving without a valid licence.
She turned herself in at Los Angeles police station nine days before an order compelling her to do so had run out.
In August, paparazzi shot videos of Spears driving into another car as she tried to turn into a spot in a Studio City parking lot.
“She could face up to six months in jail,” says the BBC, adding a conviction will also carry a fine of $1,000.
Last month, a judge said Spears showed “a habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol”.
Notwithstanding her personal troubles, with 179,000 downloads, Spears’ Gimme More reached No 1 in Billboard’s Hot Digital Songs chart for August.
