SA reggae star Lucky Dube murdered

p2pnet news | Music:- South African reggae star Lucky Dube was gunned down in front of his son and daughter during a car-jacking in Johannesburg.
He was dropping off his two children at a family member’s house and although he tried to escape, he’d been, “fatally wounded from the hijacker’s attempt to steal his motor vehicle, and he died almost instantly,” says LuckyDubeMusic.com, going on:
“South African born but globally revered, Lucky Dube was one of the country’s most toured and beloved artists ever. His music touched millions around the world, primarily through his 22 recorded albums – in Zulu, English and even Afrikaans – many of which have been record breakers with phenomenal sales from around the globe.”
Notes on 24.com says Dube began singing in bars in his home town and in church, and soon joined the Love Brothers. He began by playing mbaqanga, traditional Zulu music.
He switched to reggae in the early 1980s and formed the Sky Way Band while he was still at school, says the post, adding:
” ‘Rastas Never Die,’ recorded in 1986, was banned by S.A. censors.”
He was the first black artist in South Africa to be played on a white radio station.
