Spears runs over paparazzi’s foot:

This time, she’s run over the foot of the paparazzi, say reports.
And it happened the same day she reached a financial agreement with the owner of the car she damaged on August 6. says People.
“Spears was driving her white Mercedes-Benz convertible toward the exit of a parking garage when she was surrounded by paparazzi photographers,” says the Los Angeles News, going on:
Moments later, one photographer fell to the ground and screamed in pain. ‘He fell almost into me and his foot was under the tire…she started going forward and I guess ran over the guy’s foot,’ a photographer for celebritybabylon.com named ‘Michael’ said.

It shows the paparazzi swarming around her like a pack of hyenas.
It’s lucky they all weren’t run down.
Will the guy now sue Spears?

I love reading this kind of thing. If I had a swarm of morons around my vehicle, I’d run ‘em all over. If they sued me, I’d argue that they engaged in risky behavior by surrounding my vehicle and causing me to enter a state of panic. Or, to paraphrase the film Armageddon, “It’s okay, I’m temporarily insane.”

As much as I can’t stand Spears, if some jackass can’t get out of the way of my moving car and gets his foot ran over, thats his fault. He shouldn’t be in the way in the first place. Second, more stars need to take guns to these leeches IMO.

Crouding arround a moving car is a pretty stupid thing to do. She probably did not do it on purpose.

paparazzi (scum) should be banned. a simple law making it illegal to sell(not take) images without consent of the main subjects would eliminate them.

The main problem is that the cat and mouse game is usually staged between a “star’s” agents and the paparazzi to increase the star power and garner them more money. Did any of you realize that Britney, Lohan and Paris get PAID anywhere from $20,000 to $200,000 to “show up” at certain hot spots. They draw booze buying yahoos like moths to a flame. That’s why any news is good news if you’re in the grocery store mags.
