Murdoch’s MySpace goes green

p2pnet news | Product News:- Rupert Murdoch to minions:
“Hmmmm. The environment is still getting a hell of a lot of attention and who knows, Al Gore might even get to be president of the US.
“There’s gotta be away to cash in on this.”
Murdoch has always been deeply interested in the colour green and now he’s going after environmentalists, using kids as the foil.
His MySpace is “collaborating” on a $13, 160-page children’s environmental paperback, which means we can now expect cynical quotes about how News Corp, MySpace’s official owner and handler, has always had world environments at heart, etc, etc.
The HarperCollins book will be written by a “freelance journalist” with a foreword by MySpace president Tom Anderson.
It’s slatted for release on April 22 which, by an amazing coincidence, is Earth Day.
With MySpace/Our Planet: Change is Possible Anderson hopes to engage his “Internet flock” on environmental issues and “get them to take action,” according to Associated Press.
