Google, Microsoft vie in Facebook deal

p2pnet news | Product News:- As p2pnet reported last month, Bill and the Boyz, and Larry, Serge and Eric, jealous of Rupert’s success with MySpace, separately expressed a strong – very strong – desire to own a piece of Facebook.
At the time, the figure of $10 was being bandied about but now, Facebook is close to reaching a deal with Google or Microsoft Corp which could be worth not $10, but $15 billion, says Reuters.
Nice chunk of change.
“A Facebook deal would include an agreement with the investing company to handle its overseas advertising sales, the Wall Street Journal reported,” citing the usual people familiar with the matter, says the story.
Representatives from Facebook, Google and Microsoft, “were not immediately available for comment,” it adds.
