The walrus, the carpenter and the RIAA

p2pnet news | Music:- Do a search for RIAA and you’ll get literally thousands of results.
What do the vast majority have in common?
They refer in one way or another to the relentless, ongoing attacks on Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal and Sony BMG customers.
What are they achieving?
Nothing of any value to them or their shareholders.
All they’re doing is irretrievably alienating the people on whom they depend for their very survival – ‘consumers,’ male and female, young and old.
Pretty soon, there won’t be any left.
It makes one think of the last verse of Lewis Carroll’s Walrus and The Carpenter.
“O Oysters,” said the Carpenter,
“You’ve had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?”
But answer came there none —-
And this was scarcely odd, because
They’d eaten every one.
