In between “fits of giggles (and right before she abruptly left the call to take a shower)” a “sleepy Spears told Seacrest that she didn’t do anything special to celebrate her album release,” the story says, talking about her new album Blackout.

“It was laid back really,” she said.

On how she handles the rumors, “I try not to let it get to me,” she told Seacrest. “As long as you know what’s up and what’s true, that’s all that matters,”

And on rumors that she’s a bad mother:

“People say what they want and do what they do. It’s sad….how cruel our world can be. You just gotta know in your heart you’re doing the best that you can.

How often she will see her kids?

“My lawyers know all that stuff,” she told KIIS-FM.
