I have to disagree that paparazzi are evil bottom dwellers. Celebrities need these people to follow them around create buzz. Would anyone know who some of the latest âcelebritiesâ are without the help of these individuals? Close your eyes and picture washed up stars and stars whose lights are starting to flicker. They are flickering because the paps aren’t photographing them anymore…which causes the hip clubs to not let them in as easily, which causes movie and music industry opportunities to dwindle…etc…etc…etc…

Basically, I am saying that celebs need paparazzi just as much as paparazzi need celebs. Celebrities are just real people, like you and me. The only difference between them and us is a good stylist, a prominent manager, and a juicy story about them to tell behind their back. It is ridiculous when these celebrities act like it is such a hardship to be photographed one minute and the next, they alert all media outlets about their planned trip to the boardwalk for a quick frolic on the beach. Celebrities need to appreciate the incredible marketing tool that is in their tool bag: Paparazzi.

Psst: I’m not a photographer, I sell birth announcements…so this soap box has nothing to do with my own livelihood, just an up front opinion about who we should really be calling bottom dwellers (Lohan, Spears…and Mini-Spears, and any other attention craving misfit in Hollywood).

a brilliant game to play is to get together with your Physics student friends and build a powerful(works over 2m radius) EM pulse generator. find some paparazi and set it off. basically kills the memory card and software so camera has to be reset(all pictures lost in theory) never again have we seen those 4 men with cameras outside our department.
