Target dumps Manhunt 2

p2pnet news | Games:- Megastore Target has dumped Take-Two Interactive’s Manhunt 2.
Banned in Britain, the brutally violent and sexually explicit game boasts criminally insane asylum escapees, up-front drug use and non-stop gory murders as its main attractions.
Take-Two said it’d toned the game down, but mods featuring the full-frontal violence showed up online.
It’s, “the most senselessly violent and offensive thing I’ve ever watched,” said James Steyer, CEO of Common Sense Media.
Notwithstanding this and other similar criticisms, the games industry friendly ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) ruled it didn’t need an Adults Only rating.
M for Mature was enough.
However, Target doesn’t agree.
“Despite the fact that the exploit only affects the PSP version of Manhunt 2, Target has apparently pulled both versions of the title,” says Gamasutra.
“A Target representative confirmed to GameSpot that the PSP hack was the reason for the decision, commenting, ‘While Manhunt 2 was given a Mature rating by the ERSB, we received additional information that players can potentially view previously filtered content by altering the game code. As a result, we have decided not to carry the game’.”

Who gives a shit, if anyone really wanted the game they would just go to a different store. All Target is doing is losing money.
