Below is a little something we’ve just received from the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Finance from Mrs Amina Shittu, addressed to .Beneficiary.
And it acknowledges the “fraudulent activities going on in world now”.
That’s a relief. For a moment, we thought it might be another of those nasty Nigerian 419 scams.
With Re: Your contract payment with the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the subject heading, it reads:
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: Federal Ministry of Finance and Economic Development approval on Form A 25th August 2007, by order of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) have given an instruction for your contract payment to be effected into your nominated bank account and we need an urgent respond from you before given any order to the bank to release your contract fund.
After the visit of Queen Elizabeth of England in Nigeria concerning COMMON WEALTH ORGANIZATION, Nigeria registered as a member and to avoid betraying the Human Right Law, government decided to pay off all foreigners overdue contract payment owned by Nigeria government for pass years.
We are sorry for any inconvenience and delay. Please bear with us. Now the Approval has given to remit your payment and our Ministry promise you that your overdue contract payment must be credited into your nominate bank account.
Be advice that without the Federal ministry of Finance given an approval to the bank if you are to be paid in Nigeria or International Credit Commission Head Office Spain your if you are to paid in Europe your fund can’t be transferred.
We will tell you which Office to contact due to the fraudulent activities going on in world now.
Try your possible best to get in contact with us as soon as you receive this mail, and if you have misplace any information concerning this, inform this office to enable us know what to do about it so that you will receive your overdue contract payment which has been approved.

id like to reference everyone to http://www.419eater.com/, which lists hilarious baiting of these ignorant saps, and gets them to send waste their time and resources.

flash:11-8-07 a man in amarillo texas was stopped by postal working trying to mail; $30,000. dollars in cash to one of these scams. He told them he had to pay the tax before he could collect his winning. One born ever minute.
