Finn school killer’s YouTube suicide note
p2pnet news | Movies:- Finnish student Pekka-Eric Auvinen, who shot and killed eight others, including the female principal of Jokela High School, and then himself, posted a gruesome rock video, foreshadowing the tragedy a couple of hours before it actually took place.
What motivated him?
A relationship with a girl who described herself online as a willowy blonde ‘atheist immortalist,” and, “whose favourite films include Natural Born Killers and Kill Bill,” says Times Online.
The story says yesterday she acknowledged she’d been Auvinen’s girlfriend but, “rejected suggestions that the recent break-up of their relationship may have ignited Auvinen’s killing spree.
“I have received lots of mail and messages saying that it was my fault and that I am a murderer who abetted him,” the story has her saying.
Moreover, he may have been in touch online with an American teenager who’d planned a similar massacre at a school in Philadelphia, Helsinki police said, according to Bloomberg News, which has Rabbe von Hertzen, detective superintendent and chief investigator of the Jokela School killings, saying:
“We haven’t investigated in detail who Auvinen has contacted on the Internet, but it is likely that they have been in contact.”

The U.S. teenager was arrested last month on suspicion of planning to storm his old school, according to an Oct. 27 article in the Philadelphia Inquirer. Police searched his home and found a 9mm semiautomatic rifle and two other guns, along with knives, swords, gunpowder and a video about the 1999 Columbine massacre in Colorado that left 12 students and a teacher dead.
On his YouTube page, “I am a cynical existentialist, antihuman humanist, antisocial socialdarwinist, realistic idealist and godlike atheist,” says Auvinen, 18, calling himself turmgeist89.

I am ready to die for a cause I know is right, just and true… even if I would lose or the battle would be only remembered as evil… I will rather fight and die than live a long and unhappy life.
And remember that this is my war, my ideas and my plans. Don’t blame anyone else for my actions than myself. Don’t blame my parents or my friends. I told nobody about my plans and I always kept them inside my mind only. Don’t blame the movies I see, the music I hear, the games I play or the books I read. No, they had nothing to do with this. This is my war: one man war against humanity, governments and weak-minded masses of the world! No mercy for the scum of the earth! HUMANITY IS OVERRATED! It’s time to put NATURAL SELECTION & SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST back on tracks!

The guy obviously had some psychological problems. They were his choices and his actions, the girlfriend was smart to get out of the relationship.
Half of the things he claimed to be are contradictory and oxymoronic. Clearly an indication of a delusional self-image and a warped perception of reality.

Yeah, a guy who says he wants freedom….yet denies others
the freedom to live.
A guy who says he wants justice, yet murders innocent people who did nothing to him.Where is the “justice”in that? How is this world supposed to be “helped”by his actions.
The scariest thing of all, is that he believes he is right. But he was not the first to have delusions like that and certianly not the last. Yet there was one man that comes to mind who thought exactly as this guy did. His name? Adolf Hitler!

I certainly can relate to this guys frustration having survived High School myself but I think he is deluded by a philosophy of opposition. Justice isn’t real, humanity isn’t real; destroying these things doesn’t require an opposition for its liberation it requires the creation of new ideas. He thought he was going to live a miserable and meaningless life. This speaks volumes to his intentions and to the perceived world he lived in. If he had acted like the individual he had labeled himself as I think he would have been far more comfortable in his own skin but instead he lived in the hollowed carcasses of ideas like justice and humanity, waiting for, and helping, their liberation by opposing what they are (instead of challenging there very existence). In the end a meek and pathetic opposition to what he seemed to hate about life but in the end, structurally speaking, he was no different; his misery would have been unabated by the realization of his goals. He was probably not insane, or psychologically troubled (if there be such a thing), or delusional, he was struggling with the frame of what was given to him rather than framing his own life. He seemed to seek freedom in slavery as all these gun toting “revolutionaries” do. But look at them, in russia the revolutionaries took the place of the monarch, in china the communists became the emperors with new names, and on and on…
If he is hitler we (western society) should all bare this name. Everyone thinks they are right in action, this is the frutation of a nihilistic society that worships justice and humanity in all their empty glory. Don’t lose yourself in concepts but lose the concepts for the void of possibility.

I didn’t say he WAS Hitler, only that he sounded just like him. And you are dead wrong about everyone bearing Hitlers name.
In the first place, most people do not go about murdering others who may disagree with their point of view…or even murder others because they are unhappy with themselves. This guy did and Hitler did also. Big Difference!
Everyone can be unhappy with themselves and even fustrated at times….that does NOT make murder a decent excuse and it never will.

I’m really glad he’s dead. It’s just a crying shame that he managed to take out the innocent with him and I feel for there families left behind. (sad)
Note to all the pro censorship assholes out there (ESRB, Jack Thompson etc): he *didn’t* blame it on violent video games or violent movies. He blamed his actions solely on himself, saying the whole thing came from within. At least in that, this dirtbag was honest.
It’s also obvious that he killed himself to escape responsibility for his actions. Coward.

Hey, I’m from Finland and I know this kinda guys. It’s a pretty rough country and unless you are able to physically hold your own in the menagerie known as high school yard, you are most likely to suffer acute physical and chronic mental damages.
