p2pnet news | Off Topic:- Some 102 Montreal students who barricaded themselves in their junior college to protest tuition hikes were arrested after ignoring orders to leave, says Canadian Press, going on:

“They face a host of charges, including public mischief, assault and battery and armed assault.

“Nobody was injured during the protest but police say there is damage to college property.”

But that’s no the end of it, says the story, adding:

“Further protests are planned by students to protest the fee increase but Education Minister Michelle Courchesne says the hike of $50 per semester will continue.”
