Angry airline passengers

p2pnet news | Freedom:- It used to be that manufacturers and service providers could get away with virtual murder, knowing their customers had very little ability to make puts serious weight behind complaints.
Not any more, though. Thanks to the Net, unhappy consumers can make the reasons for their their dissatisfaction forcefully known, in detail, and the latest group of people to say Enough is Enough are a number of US airline passengers.
The Coalition for Airline Passengers Bill of Rights says it’s made up of, “hundreds of passengers who were stranded on several American Airlines planes for up to 9 hours at Austin International Airport, December 2006″.
They say they were, “denied food, water or access to working bathroom facilities” and, “Ignoring our pleas, the airline refused to allow passengers to deplane despite medical emergencies, and other health and safety issues.”
The upshot? Coalition members, “discovered that there were thousands, if not millions, of passengers who share similar experiences and together we decided to turn our anger and frustration into action”.
Enter coalition of airline passengers which says it now has close to 17,000 members on-board.
The group has since lobbied Congress “numerous times” and says senator Barbara Boxer and representative Mike Thompson have introduced ‘Passenger Bill of Rights’ legislation in the Senate and House, respectively.

What’s even more fun is to print these out and slide them into the magazines they put on airplanes. Kind of like in Fight Club. You need to hide these from the stewardesses.
