Christmas is just a pagan holiday which happens to account for over half of the retail purchases made during the year.
This pagan holiday has very little to do with the Biblical Messiah (who was very likely born around the first day of the Feast of Succote (Tabernacles) spoken about in Leviticus 23:4. Don't belive me, but check it out in any decent encyclopedia, and it will give you the facts ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas ). There is little wonder why so many children of Christians are turned away from their faith.

The only sign of the authenticity of Messiah is the sign of Jonah. He had to spend THREE DAYS and THREE NIGHTS dead in the grave before rising. The myth of the "Good Friday" death and Easter Sunday resurrection perverts this one and only sign of His authenticity. The Messiah died late afternoon before sunset on a Wednesday and was resurrected late Saturday before sunset. He died on Passover which is a preparation day for the Days of Unleavens (the first of which is a high Sabbath), and He was resurrected late on the weekly Sabbath (Saturday - before sunset).

I am not writing this to destroy Christian faith, but rather to edify belief in the Bible. The Messiah would not buy anything for the purposes of celebrating this holiday. He would instead admonish people to keep the Biblical Holy days that are explained in the Bible.
