p2pnet news | Crime:- Police believe they may have found the body of Emily Sander, the 18-year-old Kansas co-ed known online as Zoey Zane.
She doubled as a Net porn star.
Says one of the sites which used to feature her, “We’ve chosen to remove all pages related to Zoey Zane at this time. Our thoughts are with her friends and family.”
Other sites have closed down their Zoey Zane sections without comment.
Yesterday afternoon, the fifth day of a widespread search, Butler County deputy and an El Dorado police officer found a body matching Sander’s description 50 miles east of El Dorado, says the Wichita Eagle.
She was last seen alive leaving a bar with Israel Mireles who, say police, is now a suspect in what’s become a homicide investigation, says the story, adding:
“As local and state investigators examine the area where the body was found, a key focus remains locating and questioning Mireles, El Dorado Police Chief Tom Boren said .”
A friend of Sander told ABC News she’d cently signed a contract with a pornographic Web site, and that she told her parents about it on Thanksgiving.
“The friend also said Sander’s boyfriend broke up with her because he did not approve,” says the story.

There is a two-fold tragedy here. First the death/murdetr of this young woman, Emily Sander… Second the media’s “handling’ of her other occupation. It gulls me to see the missing Emily Sander, from Kansas, of all places…now being referred to exclusively as ZOEY ZANE…INTERNET PORN STAR. How trite the media is. Who gives a damn what this girl did? She didn’t do anything to justify her brutal murder.
I give her credit for her overwhelming independence. Perhaps more kids in her age group should stop suckinmg mama’s teat and get out on their own. There is probably a bevy of people in their 30’s to 50’s writing about the “sinful life” that Ms Sander was living////while they themselves are living in their parents basements or garages. To those who critisize Ms Sanders….you can go to hell. If you live near her family, for God’s sake help them and offer comfort. As far as Zoey Zane is concerned…wow….she’s dead! and so is that “beautiful girl next door” Emily Sander. Peace to you Emily and all those close to you. May god offer them comfort!

Everyone gets some sort of remorse. So she liked to strip and diddle herself for the world to see. You can look at it two ways. Sorrow is a luxury that not many people get these days and usually its aimed the wrong direction. Their should be sorrow for anyone who dies by a tragic mishap. But yet society today has sorrow backwards. Lets be sorry for the guy on death row because he doesn’t get to live out his life instead of being sorry for the persons life he removed from this world. There are many degrees of danger. Most people have no choice but to drive an automobile, it is necessary for their survival in a modern world. Choosing to partake in activities which greatly increase your chances of death is up to the individual. I don’t feel sorry for the drug addict who overdoses or the mountain climber who falls to his death. So why would I feel sorry for a porn star who got murdered? She lived the lifestyle. You choose to expose yourself to filth then this is what happens. I don’t hang around junkies and criminals for the same reason, why expose myself to unnecessary danger?

Personally…as a father of 4 daughters, I would be very disappointed if one of them choice that line of work. However, I would be infuriated beyond the point of rational thought when the news agencies showed my family so little respect as to make their headlines “Porn stars body found.”, or “Missing Porn star found”. A mobster is killed because he enters a lifestyle where he kills. A porn star does not run around killing people. She does NOT do anything illegal. Immoral I will give you. Either she is dead, she was murdered by some freaking phsycopath and to try to rationalize that she asked for it or deserved it in anyway because of her occupation is rediculous.
As usual the news outlets are trying to skew the headlines to sensationalize and force us all to think of it as they do. A porn star was not murdered, a beloved, young woman with a family and friends was murdered. My thoughts and prayers to out to her family and friends who now now only have to deal with this crushing loss but also doubly so by seeing this woman not referred by name but as “porn star” with photos from those sites (or parts of the photos) being shown. These news agencies are sick, twisted, and soul-less.

I assume you were addressing what I said. I never once said she deserved to be murdered. And I think the person or persons who killed her should be tried accordingly. My point is that that sort of occupation (if you can even call it that) is filled with deviants, drug addicts, social losers and miscreants. And she who chooses to surround herself with such fodder will suffer the consequences. As I said before, if I chose to be invloved with such people would I not expect to be at increased risk of nefarious activities, ie my death?
And the media is shit I give you that but that is what she was, a “porn star”. If she danced at topless bars would you be offended if they labeled her a “stripper”. If she worked at a restaurant would you be offended if they called her a “waitress”. She was what she was. Most likely a nice person who chose easy money at the cost of her innocence, and this is where it led.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Emily Sander. As the sister of a homicide victim, it is heart wrenching to read the horrible, disgusting comments by some people on these boards. To her family-Please understand that people make such insensitive remarks because they are ignorant. They believe if they villify the victim they can protect thier version of reality by convincing themselves that such a crime can only happen to certain people. They do not understand that this girl was a daughter, a sister, a friend. They do not understand that thier comments are salt in the wound to those who loved Emily. First of all I’m talking about money worshiping prostitutes in general and this girl happened to have chosen that life. I never said I’m glad she is dead, and I never said she deserved death. The site she was in was not even for purposes of “art”. It was a sex site, where viewers get sexual gratification while she engaged in lesbianism, and masturbation, etc.

It points to a T&A site, complete with nudes and links, and to me, looks suspiciously like an effort to cash in on Emily’s murder.
