WIPO, ifpi.com and The Pirate Bay

p2pnet news | P2P:- WIPO has wiped out The Pirate Bay’s ownership of Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal and Sony BMG’s ifpi.com. Brokep quotes from the announcement:
The Administrative Panel’s finding is as follows: “For all the foregoing reasons, in accordance with Paragraphs 4(i) of the Policy and 15 of the Rules, the Panel orders that the domain name, be transferred to the Complainant,” the complainant being the Big 4’s IFPI (International Federation of Phonographic Industry)
Brokep continues:
“The decision is dated 19th of November, although I received it today. It might be the fact that I have 10 business days to contest the decision that makes them wanna send it that late. Kinda off? ”
“The decision is of course total bullshit.”
Of course.
But what else would you expect?

the full letter looked realy wierd tbh, TPB do have an organisation called IFPI, yet it was ignored and stated they did not and he recieved the letter late so he couldnt complain lol.. WIPO got paid for the domain, if anything the one who gave away the domain should have gotten it back, International Federation of Phonographic Industry should not have gotten it, they never owned it! it was given to TPB, TPB wasnt allowed to use it so a 3rd actor gets the domain for free because it has a organisation called IFPI? Witch TPB also had but apparently not had according to WIPO? LOL..
if TPB was not allowed to use it because they didnt have any organisation called IFPI even though they do then the domain should have been handed back to the previous original owner, the guy who donated the domain to TPB.

Would like to add: If i was the guy that gave TPB the domain, id complain to WIPO and try to get it back.

This reminds me of how Nissan Motor Co. tried to use courts to steal nissan.com from the guy who got it first for his business, Nissan Computers.
