The Reader’s Write, and another like it elsewhere, links to another web page carrying the information and I’ve just deleted it because as I say in my own comment post, “It points to a T&A site, complete with nudes and links, and to me, looks suspiciously like an effort to cash in on Emily’s murder.

“If the company behind it is genuinely doing this to help find Emily’s killer, the page would have contained that information, and nothing else.”

And a search pulls up others including site which, I’m ashamed to say, claims to be Canadian, and which quite deliberately links to her name.

However, “Other sites have closed down their Zoey Zane sections without comment,” as I said earlier, and several more have done the same since then.

Meanwhile, “We are currently offering a reward in the amount of $3,138 for anyone who can provide any information that leads to the capture of Isreal Mireles,” says the zoeyzane.com site.

“If law enforcement captures Israel Mireles using their own resources, the collected reward money will be offered to the family of Emily Sander. If the Sander family refuses to take the money, it will be donated to the charity of the Sander family’s choice …”

UPDATE - December 3, 2007

The day and date of Emily’s funeral has been announced.

"Emily was mega fun and loved everybody," says her friemnd, Perlie the Pony Girl. "She was alwayz doing things 4 ppl without even thinking about it. People talking hate would piss her off more than what peeps call her. She never cared what anybody said about her. She was always free and independent and her own girl."
