Zoey Zane malware Trojan
p2pnet news | P2P:- P2pnet has already reported on web sites trying to cash in on the death of teenaged online model Emily Sander / Zoey Zane.
Police are still looking for her murderer.
Now, “We have received multiple public reports of attackers using the recent murder of 18 year old college student Emily Sander (AKA ‘Zoey Zane’ in the adult film industry world) as a lure to install malware,” says Adam Thomas on Sunbelt blog, going on:
“Attackers have obtained very good search engine position when looking for information about ‘Zoey Zane’, and users may be lured into installing an ‘ActiveX upgrade’ or ‘Flash Player’ upgrade in order to view a video.”
But, Thomas says, the applications are Trojans which install a Browser Helper Object (BHO), “which produces fake pop-up messages and modifies search engine results in an attempt to install the Rogue Software IE Defender”.
Meanwhile, Emily’s funeral is scheduled to take place tomorrow in Eldorado.

it amazes me to no end how many sickos we got in this world, we got people willing to murder for money we got people willing to exploit children for money, you name it and there has been someone wanting to exploit it. even those who created her adult site had the decency to pull it down not only but to start informing people of her murder. such a world we live in today.
