Hollywood Christmas humbug

p2pnet news | Movies:- It’s almost Christmas but as usual, there’s nothing jolly about Hollywood.

In fact, it’s time for Hollywood to start whining and grizzling about pirates, with all kinds of dire threats.

Over in Hong Kong, the MPAA’s MPA is promoting something it’s calling Operation Blackout which’ll run ’til the end of January next year

Under it, the MPA (Motion Picture Association [of America]) says it’ll be using taxpayer funded enforcement agencies in 13 countries and territories across the Asia-Pacific region to try and make sure it’s already eye-popping revenues continue to soar.

“It is not going to be a season to be jolly for movie pirates,” it promises.

As part of its seasonal humbug, no doubt it’ll soon be trotting out Lucky and Flo to go with the release of traditionally shitty Hollywood Christmas flicks, with the truly awful Fred Christmas already leading the way.
