While they are at it why don’t they add radical islam to the ban list? Thinking you get 70 virgins for blowing people up in a suicide bombing and beating women for not wearing a burka seems more cult like and dangerous than anything I have read about Scientology. I’m not advocating Scientology, but if you have to pick religions to ban you should start with the most dangerous first.

It’s one thing to have an organized religion that follows your beliefs, tenets and doctrines.

It is quite another to be organized into an unpaid workforce and be told nonreligious reasons for it. AND to be told you can’t leave the organization just because you don’t agree with them, AND to be bullied and harassed for noncompliance with their orders. (AND about fifteen more ANDs.)

Yeesh. Am I the only one who finds this disturbing? Yes, scientology has a lot of stigma attached to it, but so do a lot of religions. No rational-thinking person would feel comfortable having Islam outlawed, would they? Yes, scientology is entirely based on the ramblings of some guy who though he was a prophet, but so is every other religion. How is this any different from any of the events leading up to the holocaust?
