RIAA, MPAA, anti-Christmas leer

p2pnet news | Freedom:- Two of the most hated organisations in the world have teamed up to bring consumers a Christmas leer.

The Big 4 organised music cartel’s RIAA, and Time Warner, Viacom, Fox, Sony, NBC Universal and Disney’s MPAA have just been added to a new ‘worst’ list.

With that as background, the MPAA and RIAA “kick-off the holiday shopping season” with a ‘buy from us or you’re in trouble’ message.

“Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal and Sony BMG’s RIAA has acknowledged the season of goodwill with a Christmas message to university students across America,” p2pnet posted last Friday.

The message?

Fuck You!

Now it’s consumers’ turn.

The two entertainment cartel hit outfits are using taxpayer funded state and national police agencies as corporate copyright cops.

“Working with law enforcement around the country, the MPAA and RIAA will continue to focus resources on major pirate product manufacturers responsible for feeding ‘pre-release’ and newly released music and movies into illicit retail markets and will also continue to include aggressive action against the retail markets where the illegal products are sold, including retail shops, flea markets and street vendor displays,” say the RIAA and MPAA in a joint misinformation release.

So if you see someone lurking around your local freelance street or store retail outlet without apparent intent to buy anything, it could be an RIAA or MPAA spy.

Meanwhile, Christmas is the time of year when the entertainment cartels reportedly do most of their business.

So don’t buy anything from Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal or Sony BMG, and if you’re not sure, the RIAA Radar lets you instantly tell if an album was released by a member of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

As far as the movies go, avoid Time Warner, Viacom, Fox, Sony, NBC Universal and Disney flicks like the plague.

Some people are very easily pleased.

I thought that the large scale drug trade and big tobacco were two of the most hated organizations. Also there is always human trafficking (slavery). I thought at least two out of these three would be higher on police priority lists. “MPAA and RIAA, making buisness safer for drug dealers everywhere”
I’m getting so sick of this crap.
