Apple TV comes to Canada (yawn)

p2pnet news | TV:- Hooray hooray. Apple TV is coming to Canada.
The company wants to rip Canadians off with a half-vast smattering of TV shows to be delivered via iTunes for $2.
Full seasons range from about $10–$30,” continues Torontoist.
“Most of the shows currently available are for domestic productions, like CTV’s Degrassi: The Next Generation and the CBC series Little Mosque on the Prairie, but non-Canadian shows, like South Park and The Hills have also shown up,” says the story.
Torontoist also notes content from CanWest’s Global, E!, and TVtropolis networks is “conspicuously absent”.
Global, CTV, and CBC already offer free, ad-supported shows online, “to varying levels of quality and success,” it says.
Meanwhile, “NBC Universal and SanDisk say they’re collaborating on TakeTV, a web video player which can be used to hook computers up to TV sets,” p2pnet posted yesterday,l adding:
“At $100 for a four gig version and $150 for eight gigs, it makes Apple TV’s entry-level $300 look silly.”

Yeah, right. Don’t mention the storage capacity of the Apple TV, or otherwise the prices of YOUR devices will look silly.
The 300$ Apple TV has 40GB of storage, five times as much as their 150$ unit, and ten times as much as their 100$ unit.
Who looks silly now?
P.S.: 2$ for each episode of a TV show is too much, they should be 99 cents too.
