hmm newsgroups come to mind for the simple fact that delaying the release of games, movies etc drives a huge percent of consumers to alternate avenues be it legal or not, and i believe that selling media through distribution networks like ebay or any other without prior permisions, liscenses, etc to a country where the media cartels have yet to release, could end up putting the sellers and possibly purchasers behind bars or sued to bankruptcy.

till the media cartels adapt to the digital market, free worldwide distribution will dominate, and im not pro free for all either, basic economics must exist, without it where all doomed.

i hope for the best in 2008, the internet needs more people like Ray Beckerman, Micheal Geist, Jon here at p2pnet as well as the many other pro internet icons that work very hard for us, so that the users of the free internet can be heard.

i personaly want to thank these folks for standing up and fighting for my freedom to do or say whatever i feel fit to the world through the net , and thank you for not being cowardly and backing down to the presures of the real world , i can only imagine the flac that some of you may get for going against the flow , it has to be a tough job.

most people would rather ride the gravy train , who wouldnt want to be friends with such wealthy people , most lawyers would be out of there mind to make enemys with such deep pockets , same goes for places like p2pnet, im sure jon could make much better money running a riaa fansite, but these are special people who are compasionate about there beliefs and stand behind them regardless of financial gain.

oh and sorry for falling of topic , i felt that second comment was unfair and just not practical, so with that , best wishes to all in 08 , lets make this a year for change and a year to be more compasionate to everybody around you .

GOD bless
