I believe he picked out the most ‘evil’ person he knew for that quote. Everybody knows that Hitler did ‘bad’ things. It seems that many ‘leaders’ will do this. Replace Hitler with Bush, and think about the countless acts of ‘evilness’ that he has done.

I think too many people are just looking for a reason to get angry.

Sadly, even in this day of international travel, news, as well as a wealth of information over the Internet, many people do not have the ability to look beyond their limit scope of ideas.

History has shown, that good and evil fully depend on the outcome of the event, and the power that reigns after the event comes to an end.

Even the most noble of reasons can be considered a deed worthy of eternal damnation by others – for example, many tribes/cultures have been wiped from the face this earth, due to contact by Europeans (bringing disease and ways of living not fitting the lifestyle of the native people).

Am I the only one who thinks this sounds logical? I totally agree.

How exactly do we define evil? It’s a human invention to make people feel better about themselves. I think we are all capable of terrible acts given the right circumstances and motivators.

To classify ourselves as good, and others as evil is a convenient simplification.

You could argue that hitler was trying to help his people. At least he saw it that way. It’s all about perspective.

I think what he was trying to say is that even the most evil people in the world do not start out that way. It typical that people with not much to be at, get all upset over a comment that they get twisted up in their interpretations of what was said.
